You wouldn't think so, but even though you can surf from the safety of your home, you are not immune to being violated online.  As an Internet user, you can always be linked to your real identity, and just as a gun can be used to defend or attack, your computer can also be used against you. Internet safety online and how to remain safe online is vital to all surfers.

As technology evolves, the crime associated with it also becomes more sophisticated.  The harsh reality is that the Internet provides today’s criminals with an even better weapon of deception since they can remain completely anonymous and unseen.  The victim is unable to physically describe the violator and the only  "trail" is digital, which in many cases can be erased fairly easy.

In this section we provide internet safety tips, an internet safety tutorial, information of the dangers on the internet, how to stop email spam and keep your email safety, as well as safe internet shopping. There is also a FAQ on cyberstalking and child safety on the internet. Just like my other sections there is a free downloads page containing internet safety software.

Hopefully, this section will give you a better understanding of the complex issues related to Internet safety and what precautions to take while online to protect yourself.

Surfer beware…there are bad guys among us.
