- Set options for highest level of scanning;
- Set option to automatically scan e-mails;
- Set option to
automatically scan downloads;
- Set option to run scan automatically;
- Set option to remove viruses
automatically;
- Set option to automatically check for
updates;
- Check for latest updates immediately;
- Schedule full scans to
run daily;
- If new install,
shutdown all programs and run a scan immediately;
- Test
your antivirus software.
Keep in mind, that
antivirus software is
only half of the defense you need on your computer.
The other half is a firewall.
